This file contains information on the UK Upper Air Network.

The UK Upper Air Network currently consists of eight operational stations. These stations (

) perform a 6 hourly routine as part of the UK synoptic network.

There are also four range stations located at particular army ranges. These stations ()are not part of the UK synoptic network and conduct ascents at irregular intervals when upper air data is required for range activities.
