Gulf Stream: North Atlantic Sea Surface Temperature

The Gulf Stream movie shows the evolution of the North Atlantic sea surface temperature (SST) in the final month of the current HiGEM simulation. The series of images demonstrates the ability of the HiGEM model to capture the evolution of the gulf stream eddies that form along the sharp SST gradient in the North Atlantic.
